Djent and modern metal presets for tight heavy production
This collection is for producers working on djent, metalcore, progressive metal and modern heavy music. It brings together guitar tones, drum presets, DAW templates, cabinet IRs, modeler presets and production tools that support tight rhythms, low tunings and dense arrangements.
Djent and modern metal production depends on precision: rhythm guitars must lock with bass and drums, drums need impact without mud, and sessions need enough organization to handle editing, layering and revisions. This hub is built around those workflows.
Core categories
- Guitar tone: Fractal, Quad Cortex, Kemper, NAM and cabinet IR resources.
- Drum production: Superior Drummer 3 presets, templates and heavy drum tools.
- DAW templates: faster routing and mix organization for complex sessions.
- Synth and FX layers: Serum 2 presets and sound design tools for cyber metal, breakdowns and transitions.
Recommended related collections
Start with Fractal Axe-Fx III Presets, Quad Cortex Captures, Cabinet IRs, Superior Drummer 3 Presets and Serum 2 Presets. For a broader heavy catalog, see Metal Presets.
FAQ
Is this only for djent guitar tones? No. It includes broader modern metal production tools for drums, sessions, tones and sound design.
What should I buy first? Choose based on your weakest production area: guitars, drums, session workflow or synth layers.
