Three complete scenes

Every channel can be a different rig

Each of the three channels can become its own scene with a different NAM capture, pedalboard, cabinet IR mix and effect setup, while the master power amp adds shared tube voicing after the selected channel.

Load a unique amp capture, tune the tone stack, choose a cabinet chain and keep the whole channel ready as its own sound.

Scene 02

Different pedals and IRs

Build another rig with its own gate, compressor, OD or distortion capture, four-slot IR blend and post-cab effects.

Scene 03

Gapless effects

Switch between radically different settings while delay, reverb, chorus and phaser tails keep flowing without abrupt cuts.

Three scenes under one roof

SMASHPLATE is built for guitarists who move fast: keep three independent amp scenes ready, swap between totally different settings without level jumps, and let effects continue gaplessly across the change.

Load the capture

Each channel runs its own NAM or NAM A2 model in true stereo, with FULL/LITE A2 size switching and loudness normalization.

Hit the front end

Gate, compressor, overdrive and distortion sit before the amp. OD and DIST can become NAM pedal captures instead of analog clippers.

Push the power section

Choose 6L6, EL34, KT88 or 6V6 behavior, Class A or AB response, then shape resonance, depth, sag and bias.

Print the space

Four-slot cabinet IRs, tempo delay, shimmer-capable reverb, true-stereo chorus and phaser finish the tone with gapless tails across changes.

Search amp, amp+cab and pedal captures in the built-in browser, connect with OAuth once, and load straight into the target channel.

Three unique scenes, gapless effects

Each channel can hold a completely different scene: NAM capture, pedals, cabinet IRs and effects. Switching is click-free, effect tails keep flowing, and the master power amp stays global.

Smart cabinet section

Blend up to four WAV IRs, flip phase, cut lows/highs and let SMASHPLATE auto-bypass the cab when a loaded NAM already includes one.

Presets recall the real rig

Disk presets store knobs, captures and IR file paths, so DAW projects come back with the full sound intact.

MIDI learn and A/B built in

Map hardware CCs to any knob, compare full plugin snapshots with A/B, and reset controls quickly with double-click.

Build the whole guitar chain in one window: capture browsing, pedals, cabinet blends, ambience, tuner, A/B snapshots, MIDI learn and disk presets.

New in 1.2: capture artwork everywhere

Channel cards, the channel display bar and the OD and DIST pedal slots now show the loaded NAM profile image from TONE3000 or from a picture stored next to the .nam file, cached so it stays visible offline.

A new ROOM knob in the CAB TONE section dials mic distance and early reflections, so IR blends move from close-mic tight to roomy without extra plugins.

Multi-select gear filters including CAB, SPACE and EXPERIMENTAL, size and architecture filters for A1, A2 and CUSTOM, an OLDEST sort, plus LIBRARY, FAVORITES and MY TONES sources with artwork on every card.

Channel copying now sits on the pedals, amp, cabinet and effects tabs, and it carries the real audio assets such as IRs and captures instead of only the knob positions.

Dropout-free NAM model swaps, identical tone at 44.1, 48 and 96 kHz, chatter-free noise gate hysteresis, DC offset removal, correct mono latency and 8 second effect tails on bounce.
