About This Product
PRODUCT GALLERY
Cinematic Hybrid: 128 Hydrasynth Presets is one full bank of 128 sounds for the ASM Hydrasynth Desktop, Keyboard, Explorer and Deluxe with firmware 2.0 or newer. Made for trailer music, film and game scores and hybrid orchestral cues.
Trailer weight: braams, risers, impacts and dark evolving pads with long tails, strings and brass layers that take a cue from quiet to massive.
The sound
Every preset is built for the genre from the ground up, and many of them sweep through the Hydrasynth's wavetables while you hold a note, so the sound keeps moving instead of sitting still. A few to start with: Colossal Drift (pad), Colossal Quartet (strings), Colossal Braam (brass), Ancient Reverie (ambient), Eclipse Boom (percussion), Colossal Riser (FX).
How it plays
All eight macros are set up on every preset and named after what they do, so you can shape a sound from the front panel without opening a single menu. The mod wheel and aftertouch do something musical on every sound, and velocity shapes the played ones. Hold a chord on a pad and let it grow, double your strings with a synth layer, or hit a braam on the downbeat of the drop.
What is inside
128 presets: 22 pads, 18 ambient sounds, 18 FX, 14 strings, 12 brass, 10 basses, 8 musical FX, 8 rhythmic sounds, 6 keys, 6 percussion, 6 vocal sounds.
What you get
One zip with the whole bank as an ASM Manager file (.hydra), the same bank as a SysEx file, every preset as its own file sorted by category, a preset list with every name and what its macros, mod wheel and aftertouch do, and a README with install steps.
Compatibility
For the ASM Hydrasynth Desktop, Keyboard, Explorer and Deluxe with firmware 2.0 or newer. Load the bank with the free ASM Manager or any SysEx tool. Back up your Hydrasynth first: the README shows how.
