What is VOCALITH 2?
A complete vocal-processing suite with fourteen connected modules, nine reorderable inserts, three parallel space returns and a final clipper and limiter. Use it as a VST3 or AU plugin, or as a standalone application.
Is there an upgrade for existing VOCALITH owners?
Yes. Sign in to the store account used to buy an earlier VOCALITH version to receive the 30% upgrade offer automatically. Upgrade offers are paused from 1 November through 1 December inclusive and resume on 2 December.
Which formats and systems are included?
Windows 10/11, 64-bit: VST3 and standalone with native ASIO support. macOS 11 or later: VST3, AU and standalone, with native Apple Silicon and Intel support in one universal installer. AAX is not included.
Can I use it on mono and stereo vocals?
Yes. The core chain handles mono and stereo. For a mono recording with stereo width and ping-pong repeats, choose a mono-to-stereo or stereo output in your host. A mono output folds the spatial returns down to mono.
Does it replace my pitch-correction plugin?
No. VOCALITH 2 handles vocal tone, dynamics, colour and space. Use a separate pitch-correction tool if you need tuning.
How do Light, Heavy and Classic compression differ?
Light and Heavy combine the Slam control with warmth and broad Body/Air shaping. Light retains more movement; Heavy gives firmer density. Classic offers Threshold, Ratio and VCA, Opto or FET characters.
What does Vocal Contour do?
Vocal Contour is manual tone shaping: Body, Cleanup with a movable Focus, Presence, Air and Output. Choose Warm, Open or Forward, then blend with Amount. It applies your chosen curve independently of input level.
Can I reorder the chain and save my own sounds?
Yes. Drag the first nine inserts to reorder them. The preset library supports search, categories, favorites, Save Sound, update, duplicate, rename, import/export and recoverable deletion. A/B and Undo help you compare edits.
What latency should I expect?
The processing delay is 730 samples at 48 kHz, approximately 15.2 ms, plus your interface and host buffer. The plugin reports its delay to the host. For live monitoring on Windows, use your interface’s ASIO driver and a suitable buffer.
Will version 2 replace my original VOCALITH sessions?
No. VOCALITH 2 has a separate plugin identity and can coexist with the original. Existing version 1 sessions retain their original plugin. Version 1 presets are not automatically converted.
What do I receive?
The current Windows installer, the universal macOS installer for Intel and Apple Silicon, and the illustrated 23-page PDF guide. Both installers also include the guide. Purchase is a one-time payment with instant digital delivery.
