PRODUCT GALLERY

Black Neon Drive: 128 DeepMind 12 Presets fills one bank of your synth with 128 programs for Behringer DeepMind 12, DeepMind 12D and DeepMind 12XD (firmware 1.1 or newer). Night drives, neon and menace: driving basses, cutting leads, wide detuned pads and pulsing arps for darksynth and synthwave tracks.
The sound
Black Neon Drive is the sound of a rain soaked highway at 3 a.m. Basses that push the whole track forward, leads with real bite, wide detuned pads that fill the dark, and arps that pulse like headlights in the rear view mirror. Every program is voiced for darksynth, cyberpunk and synthwave, from slow menacing intros to full speed chase scenes.
How it plays
Hold a low note on a bass and pull the mod wheel: the filter opens and the sound starts to snarl. Lean into the keys on a lead and aftertouch adds vibrato or opens it up. The arps and sequences run in time with your DAW or drum machine, so you can play chords and let the DeepMind drive.
What is inside
128 programs in one bank: 20 bass, 16 lead, 16 pad, 14 arp, 12 poly, 10 pluck, 8 sequence, 8 fx, 6 brass, 6 keys, 6 strings, 6 drone. Every program has its own name and a playing note.
A few of the programs
- Iron Keel (bass): A unison saw and pulse blend through a dark 4 pole filter with a fast envelope snap. Glide keeps it moving. Finished with enhancer and three tap delay. Mod wheel and aftertouch both open the filter.
- Endless Voice (lead): A single saw through an open 4 pole filter. Glide keeps it moving. It sits in four tap delay and vintage ensemble chorus. Mod wheel opens the filter; aftertouch brings in filter movement.
- Velvet Haze (pad): A detuned saw and square blend through an open 4 pole filter. LFO vibrato keeps it moving. Finished with amp drive, chorus and three tap delay. Velocity sharpens the attack; mod wheel brings in filter movement.
- Frosted Orbit (arp): A unison full saw, pulse and square stack through an open 4 pole filter shaped by its envelope. Sixteenth note arp, up, over 5 octaves. It sits in envelope filter, auto pan and phaser. Mod wheel opens the filter; aftertouch adds vibrato.
Made for
Producers of darksynth, cyberpunk, synthwave and dark retro scores who want their DeepMind to sound like the record, not like the manual.
What you get
One zip with the bank file, every program as its own file sorted by category, a README with install steps and a playing note for every program, and the program list as a spreadsheet. Back up your synth, pick one bank you can free up and load the bank with the official DeepMind editor app, SynthTribe or any SysEx librarian.
Compatibility
For Behringer DeepMind 12, DeepMind 12D and DeepMind 12XD (firmware 1.1 or newer). The DeepMind 6 is not supported: it uses a different SysEx format and has 6 voices, so these files do not load on it. Load the bank with the official DeepMind editor app, SynthTribe or any SysEx librarian on macOS or Windows.
Want all five DeepMind 12 packs? The DeepMind 12 Preset Collection has 640 programs in five banks for less than buying them one by one. More packs: DeepMind 12 Presets.
