You already own the effects. What takes the time is dialling them in: finding the delay time that sits with the song, the reverb that stays behind the note, the drive that tightens the amp instead of muddying it. FXTHOLOGY is that work already done - 986 effect blocks you drag straight onto the matching block in any preset you have.

Every preset is built around a job, not around showing off the effect's range. Delays cover tempo-synced eighths and dotted eighths, slapback, ducking repeats that stay out of the way while you play, dark analog echoes and long ambient washes. Reverbs cover tight tracking spaces and open ambient ones. Drives cover the clean boost in front of an amp and the pedal used for its own voice.

Two things are set deliberately in every single block: the wet/dry balance, so nothing arrives silent or with your dry guitar buried, and tempo sync where it belongs - synced presets use the unit's own note divisions, so they follow your song tempo instead of a fixed millisecond value.
