About This Product
PRODUCT GALLERY
Darksynth: 128 Hydrasynth Presets is one full bank of 128 sounds for the ASM Hydrasynth Desktop, Keyboard, Explorer and Deluxe with firmware 2.0 or newer. Made for darksynth, dark synthwave, cyberpunk and horror synth.
Aggressive, driven basses, screaming leads, sirens and pulsing sequences for night-drive horror synth: dark filters, hard drive and motion that follows the tempo of your track.
The sound
Every preset is built for the genre from the ground up, and many of them sweep through the Hydrasynth's wavetables while you hold a note, so the sound keeps moving instead of sitting still. A few to start with: Blood Gravity (bass), Blood Furnace (bass lead), Blood Needle (lead), Blood Spark (lead), Feral Orbit (sequence), Blood Dome (pad).
How it plays
All eight macros are set up on every preset and named after what they do, so you can shape a sound from the front panel without opening a single menu. The mod wheel and aftertouch do something musical on every sound, and velocity shapes the played ones. Hold a bass and ride the filter with aftertouch, or let a sequence pulse under a lead that screams when you push the mod wheel.
What is inside
128 presets: 22 basses, 20 bass leads, 20 leads, 14 arps, 14 pads, 10 FX, 10 sequences, 6 brass, 6 drums, 6 rhythmic sounds.
What you get
One zip with the whole bank as an ASM Manager file (.hydra), the same bank as a SysEx file, every preset as its own file sorted by category, a preset list with every name and what its macros, mod wheel and aftertouch do, and a README with install steps.
Compatibility
For the ASM Hydrasynth Desktop, Keyboard, Explorer and Deluxe with firmware 2.0 or newer. Load the bank with the free ASM Manager or any SysEx tool. Back up your Hydrasynth first: the README shows how.
