Fractal FM3 and FM9 presets for rock and metal guitar tones
This collection is for guitarists and producers using Fractal FM3 or FM9 units who want practical rock and metal tones without starting every preset from a blank grid. The focus is tight rhythm guitars, expressive leads, ambience, effects routing and production-ready starting points.
FM3 and FM9 rigs are popular because they bring Fractal tone into compact studio and live setups. Strong presets help translate that power into faster writing, recording and performance workflows.
Why use focused FM3 and FM9 presets?
- Faster tone building: start from a usable amp, cab and effect chain.
- Consistent sessions: keep guitar tones repeatable across songs and revisions.
- Live preparation: adapt core tones to monitoring, PA and setlist needs.
- Mix testing: quickly compare different gain, cab and effect choices.
