The Odin III and The Behemoth (Solemn Tones), Shreddage 3 Argent, Hydra and Jupiter (Impact Soundworks), Ample Metal Eclipse and Hellrazer (Ample Sound), RealEight (MusicLab), DjinnBass 2, GroveBass and UmanskyBass (Submission Audio), Axure II (Study Sound Audio), plus a General MIDI mapping. Any other library can be targeted by editing the articulation map and saving it as a user preset.

StringSync reads Guitar Pro 3–8 files (.gp3, .gp4, .gp5, .gpx, .gp) and exports a Standard MIDI File type 1 at 960 PPQ — including keyswitches, velocity dynamics, pitch-bend curves, tempo map, time signatures and section markers. Password-protected or corrupted files cannot be read.
