ROCKTHOLOGY: Rock Legends Block Library for Fractal Axe-Fx III

A Fractal Audio Axe-Fx III (original, Mark II or Mark II Turbo) running firmware 32.05 or later, plus Axe-Edit III, the free editor from Fractal Audio. The blocks are stamped for firmware 32.05, so update the unit first if you are on an earlier version.

Open Axe-Edit III, select the channel you want the sound on, then right-click the block on the grid, choose to load a block preset and pick the .blk file. The whole voicing lands on that channel, ready to play.

Clean, Crunch and Lead - the three sounds a set actually needs, taken from the same amp rather than from three different pedals. Because a block preset loads onto the channel you have selected, you can put Clean on channel A, Crunch on B and Lead on C and switch between them per scene.

No cab or IR data is included, so your cab setup and any impulse responses you own stay untouched. Block presets load into the block you pick in the editor, so nothing is written to your preset slots until you save - your presets, scenes and backups stay exactly as they are.
