Rock & Metal Rigs 50 for Line 6 Helix

Rock & Metal Rigs 50 for Line 6 Helix is a collection of 50 complete Helix rigs for rock and metal guitar, from classic rock and hard rock through thrash and modern metal to djent, nu metal, doom and shred. Each preset is a finished, playable rig with its own amp, cabinet, boost and effects, built for the style it is named after.

Every preset carries the same eight snapshots, so the layout under your feet never changes: one press takes you from a clean or ambient part to a crunch, a tight rhythm or a soaring lead, with the gain, gate, delay and reverb set for that part of the song.

What's inside

• 10 rigs with two high gain amps in stereo, 8 rigs with a dual cabinet blend

• Crunch: the high gain amp with the gain pulled back
• Rhythm: tight and dry high gain rhythm, the snapshot the preset loads on
• Rhy Tight: rhythm with an overdrive boost and a firmer noise gate
• Lead: boost, a little more gain, delay and reverb
• Lead FX: lead with chorus, a wider delay and a longer reverb
• Ambient: clean amp with a big delay and a long reverb for intros and swells

Built with the full Helix toolkit

• Current Helix cabinet blocks with chosen mics, mic position and distance, so no IR files are needed
• Stereo dual amp rigs split on a Y path and panned left and right
• Snapshots change parameters, not just blocks: amp gain, gate threshold, delay mix and feedback, reverb mix and decay
• Delay and reverb trails carry over when you switch snapshots
• Boosts matched to each style: Scream 808, Minotaur, Kinky Boost and Teemah
• Effects from the Helix range: Transistor Tape, Adriatic, Vintage Digital and Ping Pong delays, Plate, Hall, Room, Chamber, Glitz and Ganymede reverbs, classic chorus
