Clean and place the signal
A DC filter removes sub-sonic offset, then Width and transparent Mid/Side are applied before the engine, so widening never pushes the master past the ceiling.
Mastering clipper × limiter
Three loudness engines in one processor — an oversampled clipper, a transient-aware hybrid and a true look-ahead limiter — with clean 3-band multiband, true-peak-safe output, ITU-R BS.1770-4 metering and one-click streaming targets.

Follow the whole path
LIMITRON sits at the end of your master or on a bus and raises loudness while protecting the peak. Every stage stays visible, from DC filter and tilt through the engine to the true-peak ceiling, gain match and dither.
A DC filter removes sub-sonic offset, then Width and transparent Mid/Side are applied before the engine, so widening never pushes the master past the ceiling.
A gentle Baxandall Spectral Tilt aims energy at the lows or the highs, choosing which part of the spectrum hits the engine hardest before any gain reduction.
Threshold (-48 to 0 dBFS) is the amount: lower drives the engine harder for more loudness and gain reduction, and Auto Loudness can set it for you toward a target.
The signal is oversampled up to 64x and, with Multiband on, split into three phase-aligned bands at 120 Hz and 2.5 kHz so a loud low end never ducks the highs.
Each band runs your chosen engine: an oversampled variable-knee clipper, a transient-splitting hybrid, or a dual-stage look-ahead limiter with program-dependent release.
Bands recombine and the true-peak Ceiling is enforced last on the real output; Gain Match gives an honest A/B and optional TPDF dither prepares 16- or 24-bit delivery.
Interface focus
Threshold, Character and Ceiling drive a fast waveshaping clipper, a transient-shaving hybrid or a transparent look-ahead limiter with nine tuned profiles.
Fixed 120 Hz and 2.5 kHz Linkwitz-Riley crossovers split HIGH, MID and LOW with per-band gain reduction, then reconstruct flat. Switch it off for full-band limiting.
ITU-R BS.1770-4 Integrated, Short and Momentary LUFS sit beside true peak, gain reduction, Punch transient retained, correlation and PLR / PSR / LRA.
Auto Loudness analyses the track and matches Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Tidal, Club or Broadcast, while Spectral Tilt and Transient / Sustain shape how hard it pushes.
Clip is an oversampled variable-knee clipper for density and edge with zero pumping; Hybrid shaves transients into the clipper while the limiter holds the body; Limit is the safest, cleanest look-ahead catch.
Hybrid routes only the peaks into the clipper so the sustained body stays steady. You go louder than a limiter alone with far less pumping, and Punch shows how much transient survives.
Three phase-aligned bands on 4th-order Linkwitz-Riley crossovers at 120 Hz and 2.5 kHz stop a loud low end ducking the highs. Turn it off for the most glued full-range behaviour.
Transparent, Punchy, Dynamic, Allround, Aggressive, Modern, Bus and Safe voice the look-ahead, attack, release and true-peak margin, or Auto matches a style to the mode.
Press Analyze, play fifteen seconds, and LIMITRON moves Threshold to land on Spotify -14, Apple -16, YouTube, Tidal, Club -9 or Broadcast -23 LUFS.
Level-calibrated M/S limits at exactly the same point as Stereo, and width from 0 to 200% is applied before the engine so it never breaches the ceiling.
Gain Match and Unity strip the loudness illusion for true A/B, while Delta Solo plays only what the engine removes so you hear whether you are shaving peaks or eating the music.
ITU-R BS.1770-4 Integrated, Short and Momentary LUFS sit with true peak, gain reduction, Punch, PLR/PSR, LRA and correlation, across Level, Curve, Spectrum and 3D scopes.
An external sidechain can trigger the detector, Channel and Release Link keep the stereo image locked, and up to 64x oversampling keeps the clip pristine on the brightest material.
Dial it in fast
Proven recipes to get close in seconds — then trust your ears with Gain Match engaged for an honest A/B.
Hybrid · Transparent style · Multiband on · Ceiling −1 dBTP · TP on. Load Spotify −14, Analyze, then trim Character to taste — aim for 2–4 dB GR on peaks.
Hybrid with the Aggressive style, or Clip mode. Push Threshold and raise Transient / Sustain to 70–85 to keep drums snapping, watching Punch stay above ~85%.
Clip · Shape ~35 · Multiband on · split high. A little goes a long way — check with Delta Solo that you are only kissing the peaks.
Limit · Safe style · Ceiling −2 dBTP · TP on · target Broadcast −23. Long release, minimal gain reduction, maximum transparency.
