Load or watch
Drag & drop any .mid / .midi files — hand-programmed in your DAW, exported from Guitar Pro, or from any sequencer or sample pack — or set a watch folder on any directory so new files auto-enqueue.
Articulation-aware MIDI humanizer
A standalone desktop app that humanizes programmed guitar and bass MIDI from any source — your DAW, Guitar Pro, any sequencer or sample pack. Velocity and timing that move like a player, kept inside each sample library's articulation bands so nothing ever mis-triggers.
Before / after
Programmed guitar and bass lands on the grid at a constant velocity. ShredSync varies velocity and timing the way a player does — within the rules your sample library actually follows.
From robotic to performed in six moves
The preview you hear is the file you export — the same engine drives both, so what you audition is exactly what lands in your DAW.

Its velocity map sets the humanization bands. Offsets never cross a band boundary, so palm mutes, pinches and keyswitches never change articulation.
One intensity fader, or open Advanced for velocity σ, accent preserve, correlated timing drift, jitter, feel and strum spread.
Watch ghost originals against the heat-coloured result on the piano roll, loop with a click, and A/B Original vs Humanized through the bundled soundfont.
Seeded randomness means the same seed and preset always produce the same file. Re-roll until the take feels right, or set a per-file seed.
Export humanized MIDI stamped “Humanized by ShredSync · seed · preset”, so double-processing is detected and every result is reproducible.
Built-in library atlas
Each map tells ShredSync exactly where a library's velocity bands and keyswitches sit, so humanization stays inside them. Pick a map, or build and save your own.

Custom maps
All product names are trademarks of their respective owners. ShredSync is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them — built-in maps are compatibility references that only tell ShredSync where each library’s velocity bands and keyswitches sit, so humanization stays inside them.
Humanization stays inside each library's velocity bands, so a palm mute never becomes an open note and a keyswitch never drifts onto the wrong articulation. Keyswitch ranges are never touched.
Start with a single intensity fader; open Advanced for velocity σ, accent preserve, correlated timing drift, jitter, feel (ahead or behind the beat) and strum spread.
A live piano roll shows ghost originals against the result, with loop, metronome, playback speed, per-track mute and A/B audition of Original vs Humanized through a bundled soundfont.
Paint bypass ranges straight onto the roll to leave solos, tapped sections or already-perfect parts exactly as written.
Extract the groove from any MIDI file and apply its feel to your programmed part.
Seeded randomness makes every render reproducible; outputs carry a “Humanized by ShredSync · seed · preset” stamp so double-processing is caught automatically.
Queue whole folders, save your favourite feels as presets from the header bar, keep a processing history, and open .mid / .midi straight into ShredSync.
No account, no sign-in, no telemetry. Your files never leave your machine.
Two ways to drive it
Start with a single intensity fader, or open the Advanced panel for full control over velocity, timing and strum. Same engine, your choice of depth.
Works with any MIDI · better with StringSync
ShredSync humanizes MIDI from anywhere — your DAW, your tab software, your sample-pack folder. It needs nothing else. Add StringSync, our Guitar Pro to MIDI converter, and the tab-to-performance pipeline runs itself: exports auto-enqueue via the watch folder and the right library map is picked for you.
StringSync is optional — ShredSync humanizes MIDI from any source on its own.
Delivery and compatibility
Standalone — pairs with StringSync
Optional power-up
ShredSync humanizes MIDI from any source and needs nothing else. But if you write in Guitar Pro, StringSync turns those tabs into articulation-aware MIDI with keyswitches, velocity and pitch bend — and ShredSync's watch folder picks it up automatically. Optional, and a perfect fit.
