The Plugin Alliance today announced a new amp sim Diezel VH4. I thought to do a comparison with Fractal AX8. I used the same IR (Hesu 2x12, M160). To make it more interesting, I did it in a blind test. Do you recognize it correctly? Leave a comment.

They both sound good. I thought A sounded a little better just from a quick listen from my phone. Which was it, the plug in?

My guess is sample A is the Fractal, B is the plugin?

Both are amazing! I like B a little bit more because of that low mid growl and less mudd in the last section but I have no idea which is which. Do tell! I’m really curious.

Sample A sounds fatter and more defined.
I guess sample A is AX8
